Game Server Rules

{TWR} play for fun, we do not take part in competitions or tournament ladders. We don't take games too seriously and our servers reflect our policy of having fun. The rules are pretty simple - don't be a jerk!

• No cheats or hacks
  We support pbbans and punksbusted in banning cheaters from all game servers with a global master ban list.
  
• No cvar tweaking
  Play the game using the normal UI settings instead of a tweaked up fragfest deathmatch in radioactive legoland.
• No team killing or team maiming
  Deliberate team killing or maiming is a kickable offence. Repeat offenders will be banned.
  
• No abusive or offensive console chat, voice comms or player names
  This includes race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and swearing. The {TWR} game server admins are free to use their discretion in determining what is and is not acceptable.
  
• No spam chat or spam votes
  If you spam the console with repeated "I need ammo" requests dont expect anyone to respond to you. Do not make repeated vote requests. If your vote is unsuccessful, drop it and either join in or leave the server.
  
• Respect other players
  Player harrassment or offensive behavior will not be tollerated. Respect all the other players on the server.
  
• Avoid spawncamping
  Being spawncamped is not fun. Our servers reduce the effectiveness of spawncamping by increasing the invincibility period for spawning players. Frequent and deliberate spawncamping is a kickable offense.
  
• Play fair and have fun
  If you're not having fun raise a complaint on our game server forum board!
  

If another player on the server is ignoring these rules AND a {TWR} member is on the server then please do not try to call kick / ignore votes. Please chat to the {TWR} members about the offender and let {TWR} members deal with it. Thanks.

The {TWR} game server admins are free to use their discretion and will usually issue a warning before kicking offending players. Verbally abusing server admins is treated as a severe offence. If you wish to question an admin decision, think about it for half an hour and post on our Kick and Ban Disputes forum board.

Kick Policy

Most of the time people on the servers have been kicked, it has been for obvious offenses or small amounts of time. Please try not to blow a fuse if you get kicked, especially if your actions were obviously against the rules. Most of the time simply saying "yeah ok that was stupid of me" or "I don't agree with that rule, but I know thats your rule and your server" is the correct way to deal with the problem. Just move past it and play the game, and most of the time nothing more will come of it.

Ban Policy

Repeat offences will normally result in kicks for longer periods of time. If you've suddenly found yourself banned from the servers, you know you've done something severe. The admins here are about as lenient as you'll find, and we fully discuss kicks and issues as an admin team so we're all on the same page with regards to repeat offenders. So once you get yourself banned, it's very unlikely that the decision will be reversed.

Kick / Ban Dispute Policy

Should you think that you have been unfairly treated you are welcome to seek resolution. Beware though that you MUST follow our kick / ban dispute policy. If you do not follow the correct procedure you will be ignored, blocked or banned from all our website and game servers, probably not the outcome you wanted.
